CLUB PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE - Local and national involvement in several programs that strive for the prevention of child abuse.

EYEGLASS PROGRAM - Furnishes funds for eye examinations and eyeglasses for needy children.

YOUTH PROGRAMS - Our Club sponsors and/or provides funds towards a variety of youth activities in the community. We also take part in the National Exchange Club's Youth of the Year program.

FIREFIGHTER RECOGNITION - Each year we solicit nominations from members of the Aurora Fire Department for firemen who have demonstrated exemplary service. These nominees are honored at a special program.

POLICE OFFICER OF THE YEAR - Each year we solicit nominations from members of the Aurora Police Department for police officers who have demonstrated exemplary service. These nominees, along with the one selected as Police Officer of the Year, are honored at a special program.

FREEDOM SHRINE - A set of framed copies of American historical documents available only through Exchange Clubs. Our Club has donated this impressive display to many area schools and civic buildings.

INSTALLATION DINNER - An annual dinner. Club officers for the next year are installed and the Ken Swanson service award is presented to an outstanding community or Exchange Club member volunteer at this event.

GIVEAKIDAFLAGTOWAVE - Provides thousands of American flags for area children, especially at the 4th of July parade.

BOOK OF GOLDEN DEEDS - A dinner to honor an area citizen who has shown outstanding service to our
community.

PROUDLY WE HAIL - Honors area residents and businesses who regularly and tastefully display the American
flag.

FOX VALLEY RV AND OUTDOOR SHOW - An annual fund raising event featuring recreational vehicles, boats snow mobiles, jet skis, etc for sale. 

FAY'S BARBEQUE - An annual fund raising event - proceeds used for child abuse prevention programs.
